Goodbye Sentra!

In case you haven't heard...my old, faithful, loyal, reliable Nissan Sentra has seen it's last day in our driveway!  sniff sniff.  I (Jamie) didn't even get a final goodbye.  Rachel, our neighbor, and trusty dog watcher, purchased my little car.  Fortunately, she has granted me visiting privileges, and so far, has not put spinners on the wheels!  :)

Well, a few days later we welcomed in our new Honda Accord.

That's me picking it up from the dealership, and here is a picture of us with Prince, our salesman.  (Ignore the fact that I look so rough please!)

Since our purchase, I even washed, and vacuumed the car (including the wheels, although I still don't understand that one).  It was okay, but not too much fun.  We are still working on a name for the car, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

I am so sad to see my very first car go, but my rear-end will appreciate the heated seats in my new car this winter!!!  :)

A Wii Knee???

As devoted Wii Sports fans, not to mention Wii tennis professionals (modestly speaking, of course), we are now concerned about our physical well being.

A report put out today by fox news, http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,471364,00.html, reports that ten people are put in the hospital weekly because of repetitive strain injuries from playing Wii!

Doctors recommended a brisk warm up, stretching, and swinging your arms around a little before playing Wii to aviod injury. Keep this in mind, all of you Wii players! :)

Beware of the Wii knee, the Wii shoulder, or the Wii elbow! But for now, this is an acceptable level of risk, and our Mii's will continue to prevail at Wii tennis.

12 Paws in the Tub

Well, it's official, we are no longer cruising. This was evident today by the fact that nobody answered Jeremy's request for room service, even though he put this request out on the door early last night. Weird.

Another reality check, after 10 days gone, our dogs STINK! We don't know what they spent the last week rolling in, but there is a nasty stench coming off of all three of them. And so, that was today's adventure: bath day! Beagle got dunked first, beacuse he takes the longest to dry. Then came Rio slinking his way into the tub. Last came the job to corner Big Yellow (Riley) -to drag, pull, carry, push, lift, etc. to get his 75 pounds of dead weight into the tub.

That is a total of 180 pounds of dog to be washed! Here is a picture of Riley, enjoying his bath.

Our Honeymoon!

We just got back from our honeymoon, (10 days and a combined 9 pounds later), and we had a great time!!!  Our cruise went to the Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Barbados, St. Lucia and Antigua.
It is hard to come back to reality...can you believe you actually have to make your own bed?  Also, would you believe that the "service room please" sign does not work here.  Another shocker has been that there is not a 24 hour pizza bar within 50 feet of our room.  Too bad about that.

We had a fantastic time...we went snorkeling every day, tried jet skiing, parasailing, and we saw some really beautiful places!
We are happy to be home though, and surprisingly, in 10 days the only casualty was one hole dug in the backyard.  :)

Very fun....where to next?!?!?  :)   (We need to hit the gym for a while first!)

We've Caved!!!!

After so much pressure, we have caved and started our own blog! :)
