Ahhh...where to start?
1. Just got back from doing a few errands. Pet Smart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Kroger. Coupons and good deals at all 4. I've taken a 3 week break, but I'm glad to be back in action.
2. My face is really broken out. I caught it last night at bible study. Some of my pimples deserve their own zip code. Thank goodness for make up.
3. My boy is a little sick. Nothing bad, just a little yellow/green snot. So I got my sucker out. Wow. It is hard to suck snot out of a 14 month old.
4. My boy cried halfway through his afternoon nap today. Normally, my heart-of-stone self would have let him "work it out", but I didn't. I had just finished working out, and hadn't showered yet. But we snuggled in the rocker for an hour. And I really loved it. Cause he is only going to be little for so long. And he didn't mind my smell of B.O. And just like that, it was over. I thought his eyes were closed, relaxing...then all of a sudden he was walking across the room to get a toy. I don't know how the child can possibly wake up that fast.
5. I'm really thankful for Jeremy working so hard and being supportive of my part time work. I do love my job and love having a "break" every day, but I'm so glad to get to come home every afternoon to play, and love on my little boy. It helps me not take time with him for granted.
6. Enough of that mushy stuff...we started time out with Noah. :) Mostly for hitting. And it is going great. He totally gets it (though he is somewhat nonchalant about it at times, and even tries to sneak out sometimes). Time out is also a nice time out for me too...to collect myself and not get mad.
7. Our Charleston house sale is still going strong. Working on some of the final paperwork. Would I be too positive if I thought we might close in early October? Maybe, but worth a shot.
8. We are prepping (well, me technically, since I forgot to mention it to Jeremy) for all you can eat pasta at Olive Garden this weekend. 2 big questions: babysitter? and how many bowls?
9. I have heartburn. 3 days in a row. Not really sure what is going on, cause I would be so sad to have to skip tacos and spicy food (especially since tacos are one of the two meals that I can actually cook). I have a large supply of tums and maalox from when I was pregnant, so I have been busting into that.
10. I've lost two things. A bag of fresh jalapenos and 2 new packages of pacifiers. If you know me, you know that I HATE to lose things. I feel like I know where most things belong in my life, and it stresses me when I can't find them. Especially when they are fresh jalapenos. Weird, huh? I mean where on earth could it go??? Also, I spent an hour looking for the remote control on Saturday, and we eventually found it behind Jeremy's plainer. Apparently when Noah was "talking" on it the other day he found a better spot for it. So there is really no telling. But I'm on the hunt. 2 years ago, we lost the remote control to our bedroom lights. We didn't worry about it because "it will show up". But it never did. I fear the same fate for my jalapenos.
11. Lastly, I'm having an in internal debate about exercise. I've finished the 30 day shred twice, so I'm looking for something new. Something to stimulate the whole "muscle confusion" theory. I'm too cheap for p90x, and also I'm not really into exercising for more than 30 minutes. Any ideas or suggestions???
I suppose that is all for tonight...I'm impressed you have made it this far! Happy Tuesday!
