Overdue update

1.  Is my blog still alive?  It's been so long since I touched this thing, I actually miss the little fella!  Since I'm not on facebook, or any other social media, I'm a little out of touch!  Oops. ;)

2. I've been out of touch since I've been so busy puking and going to bed at 7pm.  Yes, baby #2 is on the way.   Hard to explain the emotions this time.  Of course we love Noah more than words can say, but parenting is a lot of work!  Who knew!??  ;) So here we go again!

3.  Jeremy was approved for his active duty separation.  April 30.  Wow.  We are in for some big big big changes.  Another move, leaving both of our jobs, meeting new friends, and a hot hot summer growing a baby.   Scared anyone?

4. Noah is doing well.  Last week we were in the trenches with horrific behavior.  But three days ago, he decided that he "actually does like to listen", so as long as we don't run him too ragged, things have been a it smoother around here.  He has decided he wants to name the baby "butt head" (?!?!?!!!) so that's really great.

5. Dogs are also well.  Lazy and fat.  Nothing new with them.   Jeremy has been working at the hanger after we put n to bed, and I've been sleeping.  When jeremy comes home, Riley's huge tail starts wagging and thumping on the ground over and over.  Wakes me up, but I can't help but laugh. Riley is obsessed with jeremy, but if I get a chance to sleep in, he will stay in the bedroom with me until I get up. Loyal much??

6.  Jeremy's airplane went on its maiden voyage.  Noah and I got to be there for the first take off and landing, despite Noah puking every 10-15 minutes with the stomach virus.  Gotta make sacrifices sometimes, you know??  Obviously it is a huge accomplishment, and we are very proud of jeremy.  That being said, we won't be signing up for any more airplane building anytime soon.  ;)

7. My friend introduced me to white calrose rice.   Um, wow.  Amazing. Drenched in soy sauce, hit and sticky.  Amazing amazing amazing.   I've never been much of a rice eater, because I probably didn't know how to cook it.   Let's just say I've had rice for dinner two nights in a row.  And I might have had a short dream about it last night.  :)

8. I have this weird reoccurring stressful dream.  At least once or twice a month.  I am in a restaurant (changes every time) and I'm waiting tables (like I did in college, and actually really enjoyed).   However in this dream, I'm always behind, but customers are mad, my food is cold, and the glasses are empty.  Then I wake up feeling anything but rested, and stressed.  So weird!!?   Anyone else have that?  Or something like that?  Maybe I'm losing it.

9.   In my last pregnancy, i had really itchy arm pits.  Weird. I googled it 4 years ago, and surprisingly it seems to be a common problem.  Not common really, but some people have it.   This time, no itchy armpits.  So happy about that!!    Last time, around week 22 I had horrendous heartburn.  I'm dreading that, but trying to stay active (easy to do with a use 3.5 year old) and eat as much spicy stuff as I can now!!

10. So all is well in the schuld house.  Big changes coming our way!   I'm hoping to blog more now that I am staying up past 7pm. ;)   Funny thing about that. Happy Thursday!  One more day.

January update

1.  You might have seen the airplane engine fire up in Jeremy's facebook post.  It was a very exciting moment.  Jeremy was one proud airplane builder. ;). Yet to come: first flight.  Won't be long now.

2. We have been having a bit if a rough patch in terms if obedience here.  I other words, the wild tiger has broken free from the zoo.   It sure seems like that anyway.   We are staying consistent and firm, and collapsing in bed at the end of the night wondering if we won or lost.  It's really fun.  I'm really looking forward to the next 14.5 years.  Is that all I have left??!?

3. We have this book about Old Bear and Little Cub.   The moral if the story is that they love each other with all of their hearts and do all kinds if things together.   N was listening to the book and was really interested.  Then at the end of the book Old Bear and Little Cub snuggle up and sleep together all night long.  At the end of the story, n got real quiet, and then asked "but why don't I don't have anyone to snuggle with all night?"  Um.....wasn't really sure how to handle that one.   Let's just say Old Bear didn't hop in for any longer than normal.

4.  My father got me into Trivia Crack.   I HATE trivia.    I really am no good at it.  But surprisingly, this app has been a ton if fun, but I'm a little disturbed that my younger sister keeps crushing me.   Fresher education maybe?   Depressing.

5.  I had a big crying event the other night about how bored and lonely I am in my life.  It was ugly crying and everything.   Jeremy smiled and nodded and tried to make me feel better.   But low and behold, the next morning Noah and I got a nice invitation to a play date.   And even better, he didn't hurt any kids there. ;).  Just kidding.   He was great, and I had a great time socializing.

6. I've been quite the cook.   My non-New Years resolution was to do more meal planning.  It has been quite successful.  I have tried so many new pinterest recipes, and have scored big time with hubby and kid.  No more egg burritos and chicken nuggets here.  Even better, I have a much better idea how much $ I spend and I'm doing a much better job having the ingredients I need when I need them!!

7. My blogging has been little to none.  Don't know why...just thinking blogging is a fading fad, but I do enjoy writing and posting pictures and keeping a record of every day life.  I may be fewer and further between, but I'm still here.  More pictures of the crazy man coming soon.

8.   Nothing else to report tonight, snuggled up in flannels pants and blankets.  Happy Monday!    Hoping for a fun and smooth week ahead.

Airplane Update

Jeremy is getting super super super close with his airplane.
To say he is pumped is kind of an understatement.

Hence the long hours spent at the hanger these days.
And the most wonderfully, patient, tolerant wife ever.
(and oh so humble too)

He is hoping to have an inspection soon.
Which I'm sure will do well.
It's what we call SOD.  Schuld Over Do.
And when it comes to something that flies in the air, you won't hear me complain about the SOD.

 Anyone seeing any similarities?
Scary, huh?
:)
Gotta love these guys

New Year Update

1.  We went to the Pima Air and Space museum this morning.  It was interesting, and with the exception of one very overly enthusiastic volunteer (following us around giving us information), we had a great time.  And Noah took a great nap, which is a double bonus.

2.  On Christmas day, I got the stupid idea to carry my potato dish (uncooked) to someone's house in Noah's carseat.  Well, obviously it spilled, leaking milk and cheese all over my backseat, the carseat and down into the seat cracks.  It has been quite the process trying to get the stink out.  Currently my backseat is smothered in baking soda, sitting in the back yard.  It is smelling better, but only slightly.

3.  I'm attempting to do some meal planning.  I'm in a bit of a funk, and we get to about 4:45pm and don't have a dinner plan and end up making eggs.  I do like eggs, but not every day.  So I planned out the next three or four weeks, and I will try to get the items I need for the week in advance.  If I have an idea and the ingredients, it will be hard to have an excuse.  Philly Chicken in the crock pot now!

4.  I'm a big Breathe Right fan.  However in the last few weeks Ive been noticing some irritation on my nose that is lasting throughout the day.  So I quit for the sake of my skin, but I'm bummed out, since they really do work well.

5.  I'm such a huge Pinterest fan!  I cannot believe I never discovered it until a month or so ago.  Recipes, cleaning, pictures,  work ideas....it just goes on and on.  Such an amazing collection of things all together!

6.  On week 8 of the 8 week fitness blender plan that my sister Danielle and I have been doing together.  Its been so much fun, and I am looking forward to some of the new stuff they are coming out with this month.  :)  Love free fitness at home!  And really what I love is that I'm never doing the same thing over and over, so I don't get bored.  I'm coming up on a year doing fitness blender!

7.  We got snow yesterday!  It was fun to watch the joy as Noah discovered it in our backyard.  It has been quite chilly, and Jeremy and I have had several discussions about for sure never being cut out for Alaska weather.

8.  5 more days off of work.  Sure have enjoyed the holiday break.   Back to business at usual on Wednesday though (however with lots of new Pinterest ideas to go with it).

9.  Thats all for tonight!  First post of 2015!
